About Annie

I came to vinyasa flow 8 years ago seeking (what I presumed to be) easy, light movement therapy to ease recurrent stomach pain. Twenty minutes into my first class I realised my misjudgement and began counting down the minutes until the end of the sweaty, dynamic, physical challenge, far from the light, leisurely stretching I had envisioned! However, as the class finished I lay on my mat, body and mind reverberating with an overwhelming sense of warmth, nourishment and trust. From that moment I have been hooked!I undertook my 200hr yoga teacher training with the brilliant Demelza Feltham and Helen Gillespie at Mudra Yoga, and endeavour to project their ethos of creating a supportive community environment within my classes. I encourage students to listen to their bodies, to take risks, to play and to embrace boundaries with resilience and laughter. Yoga has impacted my physical and mental health in an astounding, empowering way and I hope to share that experience with my students.

Annie leads great classes, with a perfect balance of familiar poses and flows mixed with new movements, so it stays exciting but feels like you're progressing as well. She's cheery and enthusiastic and keeps the class fun, and I always walk away feeling better in body and mind!
