Greta Pattison

I teach yoga because I understand how much yoga can help people, no matter what age or level of ability we are, yoga can transform our lives if we are willing to embrace it. I want to share my knowledge and experience to help people to become more present, to develop a healthier relationship with their body, to become more liberated and develop a stronger sense of their true nature.

Greta has been practicing yoga since the age of 12 and completed her teacher training with the Iyengar Institute in 1996. In her search for deeper understanding of yoga, she has since worked with teachers from a variety of yoga styles including; Sivananda, Bihar, Swasti, Ashtanga and Hatha, and has taken intensive studies of Dzogchen and Atma teachings with Sri Emaho since 1996. Currently she is a student of Sri Mansoor, Yoga teacher and author of Chup Sadhana and Astavakra Gita. She also has over 20 years experience working as a Psychoptherapist and is a senior accredited member of BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists). Her early career was a contemporary dancer and dance teacher in which time she undertook extensive studies in Pilates, and Faldenekrais.

Greta’s approach is very caring, warm and sincere. I felt very safe and inspired to develop my practice. I was breathing fully and able to relax deeply. My health improved greatly and I have found myself with much more joyfulness and peace.
