Maria Herbert-Liew

I believe that dancing is one of the best things in life! A few years ago, looking for a fun dance class to get fit, I tried Flowetic when it was first starting out in London. I loved it. Something about it made me go back again and again - it helped me to feel stronger and fitter, and gave me the confidence to try lots of other dance classes.

Now dancing is a big part of my life and I am a much healthier and happier person. I love Flowetic so much that I trained to become an instructor when I decided to move to Glasgow recently, so that I could bring it with me and share the love.

My aim in teaching Flowetic is to motivate other people to exercise through dance. I believe that exercise is essential to living a healthy life and that dance is one of the greatest ways to exercise.

I am qualified as a Dance Fitness Level 2 Instructor and Flowetic Instructor. I am also a member of EMD UK (Exercise, Move, Dance) and have current First Aid training.

When I’m not teaching Flowetic I work as a professional children’s illustrator - you can probably spot me out drawing somewhere with a sketchbook if you look hard enough!
