Pilates is an exercise method, designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance. It is based upon an anatomical understanding of the body's muscular and skeletal systems. Classes, which are undertaken on a mat, will focus on specific areas individually whilst using exercises that integrate the whole body to re-educate and restore it to optimum muscular and skeletal function.

Pilates targets the deep postural muscles and works by building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. It helps to reshape and tone the body. It will also improve your posture, achieving the perfect balance between strength and flexibility, and it is a great way to relive unwanted stress and tension.

The class is conducted in a slow, precise and controlled manner and is accessible to all physicalities and ages.

Time: Mondays 6.30 to 7.30 with Ceza Ouzounian, Thursdays 7.15 to 8.15pm with Angela Gascoine
